- How long does concrete take to cure?
- You can walk on it in 24 hours, drive on it after 3–7 days, and load it heavy after 28 days. Full cure keeps going for months, but you get most of the strength in the first month.
- Do I need rebar in my driveway?
- Yes. Rebar keeps a slab tight if the ground moves under it. Wire mesh alone is a compromise. Every LABS pour gets rebar unless the mix and job spec explicitly say otherwise.
- Will my concrete crack?
- All concrete can crack. That's why we joint it — control joints tell a crack where to go. Rebar keeps the sides of a crack tight so it stays cosmetic instead of structural.
- How thick should my slab be?
- 4″ for residential driveways and patios. 6″ for shops, garages, and anything RV or dump-trailer heavy. We spec against the load, not against a default.
- Can you match my neighbor's concrete color?
- Plain concrete is gray — new pours cure lighter and darken with time. If you want a specific tone, we pour integral color or stamp with an antique release.
- Do you tear out my old concrete?
- Yes. Demo, haul-off, and new pour are in-house. You deal with one crew, one bill.
- Do I get a written quote before you start?
- Every time. Free on-site estimate. Priced up front. No surprises after the truck leaves.
- How soon can you pour?
- Depends on weather and how full the schedule is. Call for the current lead time — most residential jobs land within 2–6 weeks of the estimate.
- Do you seal concrete?
- Yes. Standard broom-finish driveways get a curing compound. Stamped or exposed pours get a topical sealer 3–4 weeks after the pour.
- Do you pour in winter?
- Yes, with cold-weather mixes and blankets when the temperature calls for it. If the ground is frozen deep, we schedule for the thaw. We won't pour a slab that's set up to fail.
